I envision a future where human creativity and design grow alongside technology instead of being overshadowed by it. My purpose is to address the growing reliance on AI for design solutions and its impact on both current and aspiring designers by advocating for the value of human-driven design and ensuring that creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship remain at the heart of the industry.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

AI is diminishing originality and creativity in design. AI programs are being relied on for ideas and solutions, significantly reducing the need for deep creative thinking and hands-on skills and creating a loss of human intuition and emotion in design. The reliance on automated recommendations is leading to repetitive and generic design trends, putting traditionally educated designers at risk of becoming less certified and competitive. Clients and aspiring designers deserve their ideas not to be overshadowed by AI, as they bring emotional intelligence, cultural understanding, and intuitive problem-solving that AI is unable to replicate.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

The final design is a sensory-rich, immersive environment that re-centres designers on the human purpose behind their work. Through interactive zones engaging sound, scent, touch, and light, the space encourages emotional connection and storytelling. Key features—such as a wall of past projects and artefacts, textured narrative murals, and quiet nooks for reflection support ideation, and inspiration. Designed for designers navigating the pressures of a fast-paced, AI-driven world, the space offers a moment to pause and reconnect with their values, creativity, and personal design voice.
